Ashton Blaise Whitty's birthday is 1 October in Berkeley, California. Her most well-known role is as an actress, having appeared on screen in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004), and Chrissie Mair's Content House.

In 1999 Asia made her feature-directing debut by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), where she played the lead actress as well as the writer for the script.
